About the Instructor

Manji Cheto is a seasoned strategy consultant and business advisor with deep expertise in navigating market complexity across markets. She began her career in London, supporting multinational corporations and investment firms on growth strategy, market entry, stakeholder mapping, and political risk — primarily across sectors such as financial services, energy, agriculture, and professional services.

Her work as a consultant focused on helping senior executives make informed decisions by blending structured analysis with local insight. From proposal development and stakeholder engagement to strategy formulation and execution, Manji has spent over a decade applying core consulting skills in high-stakes business environments.


She went on to join the London Stock Exchange Group, where she led business development efforts for Africa in the Primary Markets Division, helping African companies raise capital on the London markets. She later relocated to Nigeria to help launch uLesson, a fast-scaling education technology company, where she built and led cross-functional teams and oversaw operations across several African markets.


Manji is currently founder of upskhill, a skills development platform aimed at bridging the gap between training and employability. She is also currently an Africa Regional Advisor at Teneo, a global CEO advisory firm. In this role, she provides geopolitical and market risk advisory support to financial services and corporate clients focused on sub-Saharan Africa.
